Less deciding. More going out.
TANGO works a little differently for Singles, Couples, and Friends.
You tell us your taste
The food, drinks, and vibe you like, and when you are actually free. It takes a few minutes.
We narrow down College Station
Real local spots that fit, plus what is on around town this week. No scrolling through every option.
It ends in a plan
A place, a day, and a time that work for everyone going. Then you just show up.
Ask them somewhere specific.
No swiping marathon and no weekly deadline. You see who is free when you are, ask one of them to a real spot, and they pick the time.
- 1
See who's free when you are
Your feed shows Aggies who like at least one of your spots and are free at the same time as you, each with a match score. No endless swiping.
- 2
Ask them somewhere specific
Pick one of the spots you both like, or something on the Events list, and add a note if you want. You can have up to three invites out at once.
- 3
They pick the time
If they're in, they choose a time you're both free. That sets the date and opens your chat in one step. No weekly deadline, no Final Pick.
- 4
Go on your date
Check in when you get there. From the date page you can message them, use your deal, share your location with friends, or report a no-show.
- 5
Tell us how it went
Afterward, say privately whether you'd go out again. They never see your answers. If you both say yes, we tell you both.

When you’re both free
Pick one. That sets the date for both of you.

at Blue Baker, Northgate
You’re both checked in
Check-in unlocks once you’re at the venue.
Would you go out with Caleb again?
Caleb never sees your answers. If you both say yes, we’ll tell you both.
It’s mutual
You and Caleb both want a second date.
Date night, decided.
Nobody has to be the one who always picks. You both say what you like, and planning the next date takes a minute, not a debate.
- 1
Link up and share your tastes
You each keep your own account. One of you creates the couple and shares an invite code, then you both pick the food, drinks, and vibes you are into.
- 2
Plan a date
Pick a day and a time, then a spot: let us surprise you, swipe on places together, play a game, or search. Spots your partner already liked come first.
- 3
Agree on it together
Set it for both of you, or ask your partner to confirm first. They can say sounds good, not this time, or suggest another time or place.
- 4
Go, and keep the streak going
The date lands on your Home. Every date night you go on grows your streak and adds to your Memory Board.

Get the group out of the group chat.
Make a group, pick a spot, settle the time, and see who is in. Friends works on its own, with no dating anywhere in it.
- 1
Start a group
Name it and share the invite code. Up to 20 people per group, as many groups as you want, and every one stays invite-only.
- 2
Pick the spot
Choose a real College Station spot, or turn something from the Events list into a hangout. Post it to the group and the plan shows up in your chat.
- 3
Settle the time, see who's in
Everyone votes on a time and says if they are in. No forty-message "where should we go?" thread.
- 4
Go out together
Share your live location with the group for the night, with an SOS button if you need it. No dating profile needed for anyone.

Something happening this week? That works too.
Tango lists what is on around College Station, from campus events to live music. Any of them can become your plan.
Ask someone to an event. It already has a time, so all they answer is yes or no.
Tap Plan this date and the spot and time fill in for you.
Tap Plan a Hangout, post it to a group, and the plan shows up in your chat.
The parts you never have to think about.
Verified Aggies only
Everyone signs up with a tamu.edu email.
Public places
Tango plans happen at public, well-reviewed venues, never at someone’s place.
Check in when you arrive
The button only unlocks once you are actually at the venue.
Safety Share and SOS
Share your live location with a friend group, deleted when the share ends.
Report anything
A real person reviews every report, and repeat no-shows are removed.
Free
No subscriptions and no ads. You only pay for your own food and drinks.
Everyone's free. Nobody knows where to go.
Dating apps hand you matches. Group chats hand you forty messages and no decision. Tango does the part that actually gets people out the door.
- A real venue and a time, locked in
- Somewhere everyone actually agrees on
- Nobody has to be the one who organises it
- Somewhere new, not the same three places
- Works for a date, a date night, or ten friends
- Built for Texas A&M, so everything is local
- Ends in a plan, not a conversation
